REFLECTION:
Describe the project that you did and the way you shared it with an audience. This project was based around learning about American politics through the lenses of rhetoric and ideology. We started out by generally learning about what rhetoric and ideology are and how to recognize them in our past and present society. As we narrowed our focus, we started to dive into current politics and the election. This entailed studying the two presidential candidates and their rhetoric as well as the wider party that they represented. We not only learned about the issues through our political bias but also learned the views of the ‘opposite’ side by interviewing both a Conservative and Liberal panel of community members.
